Approaching another presidential election, we look back 60 years to an earlier view
of the state of presidential politics. Spencer Tracy is a presidential nominee who is
too outspoken for the party bosses. Katharine Hepburn, as his wife, adds more
heartburn for the backroom boys and a young, aggressive Angela Lansbury almost steals
the show with her portrayal of a newspaper manager.
